Started by Leone, ex-Sustainability Lead at TENZING Natural Energy, the platform began from frustration with the lack of communication between brands about how they were working towards their sustainability goals. Now, our mission is to encourage brands to share their work for the benefit of others, increasing transparency, collaboration and a sense of community.
We aim to profile FMCG companies who are both created to tackle environmental issues like food waste (e.g. Rubies in the Rubble), and companies which have since adapted to be more planet positive (e.g. Jude’s Ice Cream). We believe that progress is better than perfection, and it can be achieved on budget. SMEs are passionate yet often resource constrained, and so can’t afford the guidance relied on by larger brands. We hope to fill this gap.
How? We discuss key topics in a way that team members can understand and sustainability leads can find useful, and aim to shorten the time taken from problem → solution.
